First Aid

This is a very important training that encompasses daily accidents and handling the emergency situations. Group members are told that, In accidental situations the help of suffering patients is called first aid. First of all we should see the actual situation of accident and condition of patient, and then give first aid. Check color of face, pulse, Respiration, heartbeat, swelling of wounds etc of the patient. People are told about DRSABC i.e. Danger, Respiration, sent for help, Airway, Breathing, and cardio pulmonary Resuscitation.

First aid procedure for external & internal wounds, fractures, drowning case and burning are introduced to community. They are told that they should remember emergency helpline numbers so that they can call easily. BSP has two field offices at Galliat & Skardu region, to facilitate the community in respective region, following contact details are provided.
